Privacy Policy โ Indexer Plugin
Last updated: 31 August 2026
Indexer Plugin is a browser extension that opens a list of URLs you supply, one after another, in a single browser tab. This policy describes exactly what the extension does with data. It applies to the Indexer Plugin extension only.
Short version: the extension has no accounts, no analytics and no tracking. It collects nothing about you, and nothing you type in it is sent to us.
What the extension stores
Everything below is stored locally in your browser, through the standard extension storage API. It never leaves your device, and we cannot read it.
- Your URL list โ the text you paste into the window, or the address of the remote
.txtfile you point the extension at. - Your settings โ the delay in seconds, the three checkboxes (“wait for load”, “show the tab”, “close at the end”) and which source tab was last selected.
- A cached copy of the promotional block shown at the bottom of the window, together with the language it was fetched for and the time it was fetched. It is refreshed at most once every six hours.
Removing the extension removes this data along with it. Clearing the URL field and the settings inside the window overwrites what is stored.
What leaves your browser
The extension makes exactly three kinds of outbound requests. There is no fourth.
1. The pages you asked it to open. When you press Start, your browser loads the URLs from your list, in a normal tab, exactly as if you had opened them yourself. Those websites see an ordinary visit from your browser, subject to their own privacy policies. The extension does not read, modify or inject anything into those pages, and does not report to anyone which pages you opened.
2. The promotional feed. The block at the bottom of the window is loaded from https://indexer-plugin.pages.dev/data/v1/<language>/items.json, a static file on our own hosting. The request carries no cookies, no identifiers and no query parameters, and it says nothing about your URL list or your settings. As with any web request, the server receives what the network protocol requires โ your IP address, the user agent string, and the language subtag (en or ru) in the path. Our host, Cloudflare Pages, may keep short-term request logs for security and reliability; we do not build profiles from them and do not link them to anything else.
3. The remote .txt list, only if you use it. If you switch the source to “Remote .txt” and press Start, the extension fetches the address you typed, so that server receives a request from your browser. This never happens on its own: the extension ships with no access to any website, and asks your permission for that one address at the moment you press Start. If you never use that mode, no such request is ever made.
The links to banochkin.com in the window header are ordinary links. Nothing is sent there unless you click them yourself.
What we do not do
We do not collect personally identifiable information, health, financial or payment information, authentication information, personal communications, location, browsing history, or the contents of the websites you visit. We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties, we do not use it for advertising profiling or creditworthiness assessment, and there is nothing for us to share, because none of it reaches us.
Permissions and why they exist
tabsโ to open one tab for the run, navigate it to each URL in turn, notice when a page has finished loading, and close it at the end if you asked for that.storageโ to keep your list, your settings and the cached promotional block on your device, as described above.- Access to a website (optional, requested at runtime) โ granted only for the single address you enter when you choose the “Remote .txt” source, and only when you press Start.
Limited Use
Indexer Plugin’s use of information received from Google APIs, and of any user data, adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide the extension’s single, disclosed purpose โ opening the list of URLs you supply โ and for no other purpose.
Children
The extension is a tool for website owners and search specialists. It is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the updated version is published at the same address.
