banochkin.com (the “Website”) is a static website run by banochkin.com DAO, an informal group of people (the “crew”). This page describes exactly what happens to data when you visit. The short version: we have no accounts, no analytics, no advertising pixels and no forms, so there is almost nothing to collect.
1. What we do not collect
1.1. We do not ask for your name, email address, wallet address or any other personal details anywhere on the Website.
1.2. We do not run analytics, tracking scripts, advertising pixels, heatmaps or session recording.
1.3. The Website sets no cookies of its own and does not use local storage to identify you.
1.4. There are no user accounts, comments or upload forms. Nothing you type into the Website is sent to us.
2. What is processed automatically
2.1. Server logs. Like any web server, our hosting receives the data the HTTP protocol requires: your IP address, user agent string, the page requested, the referring page and the time of the request. These logs are kept for a limited time for security, abuse prevention and debugging, are not combined with any other data and are not used to build profiles.
2.2. Browser tools. The tools under /tools/ run entirely in your browser. The text you paste into them is processed on your device and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.
2.3. Clipboard. Some pages offer a “copy” button. It writes to your clipboard only when you click it and reads nothing from it.
3. If you contact us
3.1. If you write to us by email, X, Telegram or GitHub, we receive whatever you send and whatever that platform attaches to it (address, username, time). We use it only to answer you and keep it as long as the conversation is useful.
3.2. Those platforms process your message under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.
4. Donations and payments
4.1. Cryptocurrency transactions are recorded on public blockchains. If you send us crypto, the transaction, the sending address and the amount are public by the nature of the technology, and we cannot delete or hide them.
4.2. We do not link wallet addresses to visitors of the Website.
5. Third-party links
5.1. The Website contains links to third-party websites and services, including referral and affiliate links. Once you leave the Website, their privacy policies apply, and we have no control over what they collect.
5.2. Links on the Website do not pass any data about you to the destination beyond what your browser sends on any ordinary click, such as the referring page. Referral codes identify us, not you.
6. Our own software
6.1. Browser extensions, bots and other software published by the crew have their own privacy policies, shown on the respective project pages or in the stores they are distributed through. This policy covers the Website only.
7. Children
7.1. The Website is not directed at children. Some pages cover gambling and cryptocurrency and are intended for adults only.
8. Your rights
8.1. Since we hold no personal data about visitors beyond short-lived server logs and correspondence you sent us yourself, there is usually nothing to access, correct or delete. If you believe we hold something about you, contact us and we will look into it.
9. Changes
9.1. We may update this policy at any time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date at the top.
10. Contact
Questions about this policy go through the channels listed on the contacts page. Those are the only official channels.
